Victoria Morris

Victoria Morris is Executive Director of Saskatchewan Co-operative Association (SCA). She joined SCA in 2006, managing the Saskatchewan Co-operative Youth Program and co-operative education programming for several years, and has been Executive Director since 2008.

With over 15 years of experience in community economic development (CED) and co-operatives, she has worked in northern, rural and urban communities in many parts of Canada. Prior to joining SCA, she held several communications positions with CBC, coordinated a two-year, Saskatchewan-wide multicultural youth project, and managed a small non-profit in BC.

Victoria is also a District Council Delegate of Affinity Credit Union, serving as Vice-Chair of District 23. She sat on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Community Economic Development Network for 12 years, serving in roles such as Treasurer and Emerging Leaders Co-Chair, and continues to serve on their Finance and Audit Committee. Victoria is former Chair and a founding member of Canada's Emerging Co-operators Committee of Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada, and is former Treasurer and Vice-Chair of Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op. She also volunteered with the Saskatoon Potters' Guild, the PotashCorp Children's Festival, Community Futures of the Boundary Corporation, Christina Lake Chamber of Commerce, the National Rural Youth Network, and Boundary Family and Individual Services Society, among others.

Victoria holds a Master of Business Administration in CED from Cape Breton University, with a specialization in Strategic Leadership. Her Master's research focused on youth involvement in Irish credit unions.
