As part of the ICA Global Conference (10-13 November, Antalya, Turkey) Jean-Louis Bancel (Chair of the Alliance Principles Committee, Alliance Board Member and President of Crédit Coopératif) and David Rodgers (Editor of the Guidance Notes and Councillor of the London Borough of Ealing) will share the results of their work on co-operative principles and identity and discuss how the Notes take the movement forward towards 2020.
The Guidance Notes serve as interpretation aids for the Co-operative Principles, bringing them into contemporary terms and further establishing the irreducible core of the co-operative identity. A survey consultation on the Guidance Notes will be launched in May.
