Youth Funding to attend the Global Innovation Coop Summit 2023

We are pleased to announce that, thanks to Co-operators, funding is available for 10 individuals under the age of 35 to help attend the upcoming Global Innovation Coop Summit 2023, that will be held in Montreal, from September 27th to September 29th, 2023.

Each recipient will be able to claim up to $1,500 to help cover travel, lodging, meals and registration.

Interested parties simply need to complete the form below and show meaningful engagement within the Canadian co-operative and mutual sector as an employee, volunteer leader or student/researcher.

Process and timeline

  1. Applications will be open until August 11, 2023.
  2. The draw will take place by August 18, 2023 and the recipients will be notified by Co-operators.
  3. The recipients will be responsible for registering for the Global Innovation Coop Summit 2023 and making their own travel and lodging arrangements.
  4. The recipients will attend the Global Innovation Coop Summit 2023 from 27 to 29 September,2023.
  5. The recipients will submit their expenses to Co-operators, and be refunded up to $1,500.

Blind Draw

To encourage attendance from across Canada, a blind draw will select seven (7) recipients, one attendee from each of the economic regions of Canada (Atlantic, Southern Ontario, Northen Ontario, Pacific (BC), Prairies (AB, SK, MB), Quebec, and Northern Canada (YT, NT, NU), and another three (3) will be randomly selected from the remaining pool of applicants.
