CMC and CCA will be holding a series of regional consultations with member organizations in March and April 2014. The purpose of these four‑hour meetings will be to bring you up-to-date on the transition of CMC and CCA, as well as to solicit your input on these organizations for the future. This will be a first step in the lead-up to the 2014 Congress and CMC’s inaugural Annual General Meeting, June 18 to 19, in Moncton.
While the timing and locations of the meetings largely coincide with a co‑operative’s AGM, we encourage directors and senior staff of all prospective member organizations and supporters in those regions to attend. These meetings are also open to other co-operative organizations in the area, and we encourage you to share this information with all interested parties. In the event that you are unable to attend a consultation in your region, you are welcome to attend any of the consultations.
At each of the consultations, we will be providing you with information and seeking your input on the following issues:
- CMC membership and relationship with CCA
- The proposed/draft CMC by-laws
- The CMC strategic plan and how members can shape the organization
- CCA-CDF’s strategic focus—alignment, business development and engagement
