CMC was selected by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as the Ecosystem Mobilization Partner for the Co-operative Sector, as part of the Investment Readiness Program (IRP).
Daniel Brunette and Nadia Djinnit represented CMC at the IRP Partner meeting in Vancouver last week. They discussed strategies to help co-operatives and other social purpose organizations become investment ready. This meeting was also a chance for CMC to encourage the readiness support partners and expert service providers to consider co-operatives when developing their IRP initiatives and projects. Nadia will be the main point of contact at CMC for this project and will start engaging CMC members and other co-operatives as early as February 2020.
