This webinar will cover two related research projects in the realm of housing co-operative and governance.
- Engagement of young members in their housing co-operatives. This project was undertaken by conducting qualitative interviews with young members, managers and directors.
- Exploring the learning, skill-building and social ties that develop as individuals serve on the board of directors and engage in other ways in their housing co-operatives. This project was completed by analyzing data collected through the Co-operative Housing Programs Evaluation with the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada.
These projects are part of the Measuring the Co-operative Difference Research Network.
Participants will be invited to ask questions and contribute comments during the discussion portion of the webinar.
