International Cooperative Alliance
The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) unites, represents and serves co-operatives worldwide. The ICA is the guardian of the Statement on the Cooperative Identity, which includes a definition, 10 values and 7 operational principles: it is the minimum common denominator for all cooperatives in all sectors and all regions. It is the apex body representing cooperatives, which are estimated to be around 3 million worldwide, providing a global voice and forum for knowledge, expertise and co-ordinated action for and about cooperatives.
As a Member of CMC, you will get access to all the benefits to an ICA membership. Via CMC, your voice is heard on the international level and your organization can access the knowledge and expertise from all over the world!
Cooperatives of the Americas
Cooperatives of the Americas (formerly ICA-Americas) is the regional representation of the Alliance for the American continent. Its primary objective is “to promote the repositioning of the cooperative model in the new economic, political, social and commercial environment, supporting the member organizations of the Alliance in the Americas in the dissemination and defense of the cooperative identity, the promotion of business and the human resource development”.
Our Members via our membership with the Cooperatives of the Americas can access knowledge and expertise from all across the continent.
International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation
The International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation is the international apex body for the co-operative and mutual insurance companies around the world. They are the voice of those businesses on the international level. They also provided knowledge via their knowledge hub for their members as well as one-to-one support.
With CMC’s membership with ICMIF, you can be heard on the international level and access their expertise in terms of co-operative and mutual insurance from across the globe!
