La Société de coopération pour le développement international (SOCODEVI) is participating in the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) from 2015 to 2017. This program is financially supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD).
Through this program, more than thirty Canadian youth between 19 and 30 who hold a postsecondary degree can obtain internships abroad between 2015 and 2017 to gain hands on experience in international development.
“For SOCODEVI, the IYIP program is an opportunity to collaborate with dynamic young professionals who will be helping to increase the impact of our projects in the field. By making use of their technical skills and their youthful point of view, these interns will be delivering pragmatic advice to our partners to help develop their cooperative enterprises,” states Christian Thivierge, agri-environment advisor and IYIP manager at SOCODEVI.
