This committee gathers young co-operators, between the ages of 18-35, to discuss issues and solutions relevant for emerging co-operators, and to advise CMC on the point of view of the young Canadian co-operative leaders.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.1&#8243; title_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>CEC\u2019s goal is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the needs of new co-operator leaders and how to fulfill them;<\/li>\n<li>Shape discussions about the future of leadership within the co-operative and mutual sector;<\/li>\n<li>Create a space for young co-operators to highlight, increase, and celebrate their involvement in the co-operative sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;Commitment&#8221; title_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Those chosen for the committee can expect the following time commitment over the course of their <strong>three-year<\/strong> term:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly committee meetings (virtual) \u2013 1-2 hours per month (typically held in evenings)<\/li>\n<li>Sub-committee meetings (virtual) as required \u2013 1-3 hours per month (typically 1-2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;Eligibility&#8221; title_font=&#8221;|||on|||||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates must :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be currently engaged within the co-operative and mutual sector<\/li>\n<li>Be 35 years or under<\/li>\n<li>Be able to commit to the monthly commitment described above<\/li>\n<li>If your employer is a CMC member, you should provide notice to your employer that you are on the CEC committee, and it may require some work during work hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;CONFIDENTIALITY&#8221;
