New Democrats believe the federal government must support co-operatives by contributing financially to their development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cCo-operatives play a vital role in building a more prosperous and fairer Canada. An NDP government will support a federal fund to&nbsp;<span class=\"s2\">support the establishment of new co-operatives, as well as the growth of those that already exist<\/span>. We will also give credit unions concrete options for accessing capitalization sources.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cCo-operatives are part of our DNA.
