The Investment Readiness Program (IRP) activities at CMC continue to encourage and support co-ops to apply to the program to receive funding for their projects. In the past month, CMC held two informational webinars with the Newfoundland and Labrador Co-operative Association about the IRP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During Co-op Week, CMC also presented a capacity building grant writing workshop followed by a Q&A session with funders, allowing attendees to brush up on their grant writing skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On November 4th, CMC will be co-hosting an information session with Local Food and Farm Co-ops<\/a> about the IRP. If you\u2019re a start-up farm business, a co-op, or food social enterprise you\u2019ll want to join this session to learn more about what funding options exist for you with the IRP. If you are interested in attending this event, please register here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Community Foundations of Canada<\/a> and the Foundation for Black Communities<\/a> currently have their funding cycles open.
