It\u2019s official: Summer is here and in full swing! After a busy couple of months and a whirlwind of a Congress, our team is taking some time to slow down, recoup, and enjoy the sunshine! It may only be July, but CMC is already anticipating an action-packed Fall, which is why it\u2019s so important for the team to take time to reset and come back filled with energy and passion for the Canadian co-operative and mutual sector!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In between vacation days, CMC has also been busy planning for the next year. I can honestly say that I am excited for the year ahead as our team is coming up with bright and creative ideas to help promote and educate the public about the co-operative movement. I have also witnessed some passionate discussions about how CMC can respond to its members\u2019 needs and rollout more membership-driven services. I cannot wait to share these updates with you as details are solidified, so please keep an eye on this space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lastly, I am proud to announce that, in collaboration with Co-operators<\/a>, we are able to offer funding to help 10 individuals under the age of 35 attend the upcoming Global Innovation Coop Summit 2023<\/a>, which is being held in Montreal from September 27th to 29th, 2023. Each recipient will be able to claim up to $1,500 to help cover travel, lodging, meals, and registration.
