CMC is very pleased to welcome Tara Molloy, Senior Membership Engagement Advisor, to its team.
Tara will be key to the execution of CMC’s membership retention and engagement plan, serving as a critical communication link for CMC’s current and potential members, and focusing on ensuring member satisfaction.
A seasoned project manager and membership engagement officer, Tara previously worked for the national supply management sector and in the office of the president of the International Development Research Centre as key relationship and project manager, coordinating collaborative working relationships with and among multiple stakeholder groups. Most recently, Tara worked as the trade and policy analyst for Chicken Farmers of Canada, where she provided strategic analysis and advice on activities and discussions taking place in international forum, such as at the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Food Systems Summit.
Tara holds a Master’s in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, a certificate in Food Security Studies from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Science in Food Resource Economics from the University of British Columbia, and a diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies from Langara Community College. She is also a fully trained professional chef de cuisine and an accredited yoga teacher.
Tara is delighted to be joining the co-operative and mutual sector, and to becoming part of the team fostering positive social change by supporting the growth of the cooperative economy in Canada.
