CMC is proud to welcome the Institut international des coopératives Alphonse-et-Dorimène-Desjardins of HEC Montréal as an auxiliary member.
Founded in 1975, the Institut aspires to understand and promote the place and role of co-operatives in the economy and society and aims to shed more light on management practices, policies and actions required in the future to promote the identity of co-operatives and ensure their development.
The Institut has developed the world’s largest digital library on cooperatives and mutuals, CoopGateway, which provides open access to thousands of digital documents of gray and scientific literature including the Canadian Co-operative Research Network’s Zotero database. Available in French, English and Spanish, this unique academic library serves to organize and disseminate digital documents and data on co-operatives and mutuals with the aim to ensure that these forms of economic organization are accorded their rightful place in university research and in society.
Please help us welcome the Institut international des coopératives Alphonse-et-Dorimène-Desjardins of HEC Montréal to the CMC family!
