Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC) and the Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité (RDÉE) have signed a memorandum of understanding involving multiple types of collaboration.
RDÉE is the national network for economic development and the development of Francophone communities outside Quebec
The collaboration between CMC and RDÉE involves the pooling of efforts to promote the economic development of francophone minority communities, partnering on external communications as well as intra-organizational information exchanges.
The establishment of partnerships at the provincial and regional levels with the aim of strengthening the francophone economic development network across Canada is also an important objective of this agreement.
This agreement is an important signal of the emergence of CMC as an economic development stakeholder in Canada and is part of an overall strategy based on co-operation with other organizations to help our members build stronger communities.
