CQCM members elected the Board of Directors and a new President during the AGM. René Rouleau, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of La Capitale mutuelle de l’administration publique, became the 21st President of CQCM.
With a Masters in Public Administration from École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP), Québec campus in collaboration with the ENA in Paris, René Rouleau is a well known manager in Quebec. Since the late 1980s, he has held senior positions, including in government at the Ministry of Health and Social Services and at the Treasury Board Secretariat.
Until his appointment in January 2009 as President and Chief Executive Officer of La Capitale, he had been the general manager at the University Hospital of Quebec since 2003.”The launch of the Strategic Plan for co-operative and mutualist networks 2020 makes me very proud and I pledge to support all our networks during the implementation of the first integrated development plan. Co-operatives, mutuals networks aim to create 20,000 jobs by 2020, including 5 000 jobs in the city of Montreal. Together we will succeed in achieving our goals of growth and job creation that will generate economic development in Quebec,” said Mr. Rouleau.
