Discover how co-operative enterprises are helping shape Canada’s future
We’re thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 CMC Congress, Canada’s premier event for co-operative leaders and innovators.
Set against the backdrop of rapid economic change, Congress 2026 at York University will spotlight the transformative influence and potential of co-operative enterprises in building strong, resilient communities. Under the theme “Power the Economy”, this year’s gathering will showcase practical ideas, proven strategies, and inspiring success stories that drive prosperity from coast to coast to coast.
Expect dynamic speakers as well as interactive sessions and workshops exploring emerging trends. Congress will also offer many opportunities to connect with peers who share your passion for the growth of co-operative enterprises and the impact it will have on the economy, communities and Canadians. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a newcomer, Congress 2026 will provide actionable insights and fresh energy to help you make a lasting impact.
This exciting event takes place at York University in Toronto from June 8 to 10, 2026. The program begins with Partner Day on June 8, followed by the main Congress on June 9. The CMC AGM will be held on the morning of June 10 and, that afternoon, attendees can join guided site visits to Guelph and the Greater Toronto Area, where participants will hear innovative and impactful stories.
Be sure to register before March 23 to secure early bird rates and guarantee your place at Canada’s most anticipated co-operative event. Please note that Congress 2026 registration is “à la carte”, so attendees can register for all of it, or only for specific events or segments, and that the Annual General Meeting delegate registration will be a separate process.
